BRO Recruitment 2023: The Border Roads Organization (BRO) General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF) has released the latest notification for the recruitment of various posts including the Radio Mechanic, Operator Communication, Driver, Vehicle Mechanic, MSW Driller, MSW Painter, MSW Mess Waiter, etc. via Advt. No. 04/2022. Eligible candidates can apply for the BRO GREF Vacancy 2023 by sending the duly filled application form to the concerned address. The Application form is available at the website bro.gov.in starting on December 31, 2022. All the details related to BRO Recruitment 2023 are given below.

BRO GREF Recruitment Education Qualification

Radio Mechanic:-

  • Matriculation and Possessing Radio Mechanic Certificate from ITI with two years experience as Radio Mechanic in a Government, Public or Private Sector enterprises; OR
  • Possessing Defence Trade Certificate from an Army Institute or similar establishment of Defence with two years experience in Radio Technology: OR
  • Having passed Class I Course for Wireless Operator and Key Board as laid down in Defence Service Regulations (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from office of Records or Centres or similar establishment of Defence.

Operator Communication :-

  • Matriculation and Possessing Wireless Operator or Radio Mechanic Certificate from Industrial Training Institute or equivalent; OR
  • Defence Trade Certificate from an Army Institute or similar establishment of Defence with knowledge of Radio Technology; OR
  • Having passed Class I Course for Wireless Operator and Key Board as laid down in Defence Service Regulations (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from office of Records or Centres or similar establishment of Defence.

Driver Mechanical Transport:-

  • Matriculation and Possessing a heavy Motor vehicle driving licence: OR
  • Having passed class III Course for Driver Plant Mechanical Transport as laid down in Defence Service Regulations (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from office of Records or Centres or similar establishment of Defence.

Vehicle Mechanic:-

  • Matriculation and Possessing certificate of Mechanic in Motor Vehicle / Diesel / Heat Engine. OR
  • Possessing certificate of mechanic in internal Combustion Engine / Tractor from Industrial Training Institute or equivalent; OR
  • Having passed the Defence Trade Certificate from an Army Institute; or similar establishment of Defence or having passed Vehicle Mechanic Class II Course as laid down in Defence Service Regulations, (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from office of Records or Centres or similar establishment of Defence.

MSW Driller:-

  • Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and
  • Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by Border Roads Organisation.
  • Should qualify physical tests as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
  • Should meet physical and medical standards as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.

MSW Mason:-

  • Matriculation and Possessing certificate of Building construction / Bricks Mason from Industrial Training Institute / Industrial Trade Certificate / National Council for Training in the Vocational Trades / State Council for Vocational Training OR
  • Passed Certificate Class II for Mason as laid down in Defence Service Regulations, (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from office of Records / Centres or similar establishment of Defence.
  • Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by Border Roads Organisation.
  • Should qualify physical tests as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
  • Should meet physical and medical standards as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.

MSW Painter:-

  • Matriculation and Painter Certificate from Industrial Training Institute /Industrial Trade Certificate / National Council for Training in the Vocational Trades / State Council for Vocational Training. OR
  • Passed Class 2 course for painting as laid down in Defence Service Regulations, (Qualification Regulations, for soldiers) from office of Records/Centres or similar establishment of Defence.
  • Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by Border Roads Organisation.
  • Should qualify physical tests as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
  • Should meet physical and medical standards as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.

MSW Mess Waiter:-

  • Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent;
  • Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by Border Roads Organisation.
  • Should qualify physical tests as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
  • Should meet physical and medical standards as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.

Age Limit

  • 18-25/27 years (on the last date of application). Age relaxation will be given as per the rules.
