Open a Jan Dhan account in State Bank of India (SBI), the largest government bank in the country and avail millions.  If your Jan Dhan account is in SBI or you open a new Jan Dhan account in SBI, you can get a benefit of more than Rs 2 lakh.

Open a Jan Dhan account in State Bank of India (SBI), the largest government bank in the country and avail millions.  If your Jan Dhan account is in SBI or you open a new Jan Dhan account in SBI, you can get a benefit of more than Rs 2 lakh.  For this you have to apply for SBI Rupay Jandhan Card.  SBI has given this information by tweeting.

Account holders get many facilities under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana.  In this account customers are given a card in the form, from which you can withdraw money from the account and also make purchases.

 This Will Benefit You

 According to SBI's tweet, if you apply for Jan Dhan card as SBI, you will get accident insurance up to Rs 2 lakh.  For this you have to swipe the card once in 90 days.  By doing this you will be entitled to get accident insurance cover of Rs 2 lakh.


 Documents Required For Opening A Jan Dhan Account

 >> You can submit documents fulfilling KYC requirement including Aadhaar card, passport, driving license to open Jan Dhan account.
 >> If you do not have the documents, you can open a small account.
 >> In this you have to have a self certified photograph and your signature in front of the bank officer.
 >> You don't have to pay any fee to open a Jan Dhan account.
 >> Anyone 10 years or older can open this account.


 Facility to withdraw 10 thousand rupees
 Jan Dhan Khata has many benefits.  If you have a Jan Dhan account, you can withdraw up to Rs 10,000 from your account by overdraft.
