According to the data released by the corporation, Vadodara city and district have recorded the highest number of 118 positive cases of corona till date. Thus the number of positive cases has increased to 7221. The official death toll rose to 131 with one more death today. A further 55 patients have been discharged from the hospital in Vadodara today. So far a total of 5644 people have beaten Corona. Out of 1446 active cases in Vadodara, 157 patients are on oxygen and 60 patients are on ventilator and 1229 patients are in stable condition.

Events like music, dance, drama, meeting, redemption can be done by calling the audience up to 50% seats of any auditorium. The condition is that the program should not be in the containment zone. The Central Government may include these matters in the next guideline of Unlock. These activities were banned after the lockdown took effect on March 23.
Union Tourism Minister Prahlad Patel said the tourism-culture sector is one of the sectors most affected by Corona. The bulk of the hotel industry's revenue comes from events such as meetings, conferences and exhibitions. It has been suggested in a letter to the Union Home Minister that planning be allowed by inviting people to the banquet halls, conference rooms of hotels at 50% capacity. The matter has also been discussed with the Home Secretary. They agree with this proposal. It is hoped that the new unlock order will address these issues.
