As a result, banks or housing finance companies have simplified the process of taking out all types of loans. Mot banks are now offering loans even on general documents or terms. Now ICICI Home Finance is also offering home loans on normal terms. ICICI Home Finance has launched a new loan scheme Apna Ghar Dreams for skilled workers working in the unorganized sector in Delhi. Under this, loans ranging from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 50 lakh can be taken

The scheme is for carpenters, electricians, tailors, painters, welding workers, plumbers, mechanics, manufacturing machine operators, RO fixers, small and medium businesses and grocery shopkeepers in the city, the company said.  These people will only have to provide PAN (permanent account number) and Aadhaar and six months bank account details as documents.  Under this scheme, customers can take a loan for 20 years.  A minimum of Rs 1,500 for a loan of up to Rs 5 lakh and a minimum of Rs 3,000 for a loan of more than Rs 5 lakh

Anirudh Kamani, CEO, ICICI Home Finance Company, said, "At ICICI Home Finance, Our objective is to provide loans to hardworking workers in the unorganized sector and local small businesses to fulfill their dream of buying a home.

The company said customers can also avail the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme (PMAY). Let me tell you, this is a credit linked subsidy scheme for low income class / economically weaker class (EWS / LIG) and middle income class (MIG-1 and 2). Under the scheme, the borrower can get a maximum subsidy of up to Rs 2.67 lakh
