| BOI Recruitment 2020 Selection Process |
- ➤ BOI Selection Process will be through online test and/or GD and/or personal interview based on the number of applicants / eligible candidates.
- ➤ Online Examination
- English Language, Personal Knowledge, General Awareness Subject 175 Marks Exam.
- The bank reserves the right to modify the structure of the bank exam which will be communicated through its authorized website.
- Other detailed information related to the exam will be given in an information handout, which will be made available for the candidates to download along with the call letter from the authorized website www.bankofindia.co.in.
- The above examinations should be available in bilingual ie English and Hindi except for English language tests. The English language test in this exam will be of qualifying nature, that is, the marks obtained in the English language will not be added while preparing the merit list.
- ➤ Interview
- Based on the marks obtained by a student in the online examination, the merit list of the candidates (marks obtained in General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry and Professional Knowledge Paper) will be prepared in descending order for the respective categories i.e. SC / ST/OBC / EWS / General.
- Candidates having secured minimum qualifying marks prescribed for the online test and having a sufficiently high ranking in order of merit will be called for the personal interview and/or GD. Any candidate who has passed the online test will be called for personal interview / GD.
- In case of equal marks for two or more candidates, the merit order of such a group of candidates will be on the basis of date of birth i.e. senior in the age of the candidate will be placed higher in the merit list. The bank can conduct the selection process only on the basis of the interview / GD without conducting an online examination.
- Accordingly, if the online examination is not conducted, a sufficient number of candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on their qualification, experience, and overall suitability for the post, as decided by the bank. The total marks of allotted for the interview are 100.
- The minimum qualifying marks for General / EWS category candidates will be 40% and for SC / ST / OBC / PWD will be 35%. The number of vacancies to the candidates called for interview will be in the ratio of 3: 1]. However, the bank may increase the said ratio at its discretion.

| BOI Recruitment 2020 How to Apply |
- ➤ Step 1: Before Applying, Candidates are advised to use the Notification carefully and make sure they are fulfilled All eligibility criteria. Their eligibility will be temporary and will only be verified if they are shortlisted for Choice.
- ➤ Step 2: BOI Recruitment Post Notification Out, Recruitment 2020 Candidate can apply online between 16 September 2020 to 30 September 2020.
- ➤ Step 3: Please check and collect all documents - eligibility, ID proof, address details, basic details.
- ➤ Step 4: Option "application online" which will open a new screen.
- ➤ Step 5: To register the application, select the "Click here for new registration" tab and enter the name, contact details, and email-id. The system will generate a temporary registration number and password and displayed it on the screen. The candidate should note the provisional registration number and password. An email and SMS showing the provisional registration number and password will be sent.
- ➤ Step 6: If the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he can save the data already entered by choosing the "SAVE AND NEXT tab". Candidates are advised to "use SAVE" before submitting an online application. And the facility of NEXT to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if necessary. Blind candidates should check the application form carefully page to ensure that they are correct before final submission.
- ➤ Step 7: Candidates are advised to carefully film and verify the details filled in the online application as no change will be possible after clicking on the last change.
- ➤ Step 8: The name of the candidate or his father/husband etc. should be spelled correctly in the application as it appears in the certificate/mark sheet. Any alteration /change found may disqualify the candidature.
- ➤ Step 9: Verify your details and "Verify your details and save your application by clicking on the 'Save and Next' button.
- ➤ Step 10: Candidates should take the photo as per the specifications given in the photo-taking and photo-uploading guidelines and Signatures can proceed to upload. And detailed signature under point "C".
- ➤ Step 11: Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the application form
- Click on the Preview tab to preview on the last tab. And verify before finalizing the final application form.
- ➤ Step 12: Revise the details. If necessary, and after verifying and making sure that the photograph, signature you have uploaded and other details are correct, Just click on 'Final Submit'.
- ➤ Step 13: Click on the 'Payment' Tab and proceed for payment.
- ➤ Step 14: Go through the Preview Tab to preview and verify the whole application form before FINAL SUBMIT.
- ➤ Step 15: Candidates Generate the Application Form after the final submission of the form then take printing out of the online application form.
