SWACHHTA PAKHVADA BABAT NIYAMAK SHRI NO LATEST PARIPATRA

 Clean fortnight  Matter of celebrating 01 to 15 September, 2021.

The Government of India has decided to celebrate "Swachhta Pakhwada" from the year 2016.  It is overseen by all the Ministries of the Government of India in coordination with the State Governments and Union Territories.

 Like every year, this year also Dt.  "Sanitation fortnight" will be celebrated in all the primary schools of the state from September 1 to 16, 2021.  Teachers and students in primary schools will have to participate keeping in view the guideline of Kovid-12.  In which the teachers of the school have to inform the students about the cleanliness and maintenance of the school.  The following activities should be carried out during the clean fortnight.

 Hygiene fortnight with the participation of students, teachers and the community should promote covid related preparations in schools / institutions.  Considering the Kovid-19 epidemic in schools / institutions, the following three things should also be emphasized.  (1) Hand wash with soap (2) Proper use of mask (3) Maintain social distance and 3 t (Trace, test and treatment).

The following operations should be done keeping in view the guideline of covid-19.

 1. On the first day of the fortnight all primary schools will have to take an oath of cleanliness.  In which all the teachers and students of the school will have to participate through virtual means and maintaining social distance.

 2. In the first week SMCs / PTAs will have to organize the meeting between teachers and parents through virtual medium and maintaining social distance.  The importance of hygiene and hand washing, use of masks, social distance should be encouraged.

 3. Teachers to inspect water and sanitation facilities in each school / institution and to make proposals / plans for repair and maintenance of facilities if required.

 4. Competitions should be organized in districts / talukas / clusters for clean and well maintained spaces and toilets in schools.

5. Essay / slogan writing quiz competition for students on hygiene and cleanliness in schools should be done through virtual medium.  Hygiene awareness messages should be posted on the website of the school / institution / department and

 6.Hygiene photographs should be displayed in the school.  All the teachers of the school and the head of the school will have to take online training as per the module placed on the DIKSHA portal..

 7. The hygiene of the students of the school should be appointed as the ambassador and the principal of the school should be appointed as the nodal officer.

 1.  E-Office and e-filing system should be used.  Bean will have to destroy essential items on the school premises.

 3. Single use plastic should be banned in school premises.

 4. Hygiene should be promoted by teachers and students.

 5. Stop using single use plastics and 3R (reducing, reusing and

 Recycle) Awareness should be given to follow the principles.  Frequently used spaces will need to be cleaned daily.  

 In addition, the following activities will have to be undertaken to promote the sanitation campaign and bring about mass awareness.

 1. Create an audio visual program / IEC material to motivate students / staff and others for hygiene and water conservation.

 2. Electronic banners can be created and uploaded on the department state web portal to highlight the fortnight.  Publicity and awareness generation can be done through the use of social media, as well as electronic and print media.

 The suggested action plan for Swachhta Pakhwada 2021 (01 to 16 September, 2021) is included in the enclosure.  Necessary action will have to be taken accordingly.  Students, teachers, parents, local people and other representatives etc. are asked to provide necessary cooperation in sanitation lessons from 01 to 16 September 2021 and to make the sanitation lessons a success.

 Information on the day-to-day activities of schools and students participating in various competitions and day-to-day activities in the clean fortnight, wise photographs, videos, films etc. should be uploaded by the school principal on Google Tracker and Drive by 8.00 pm.

Details of Google Tracker and Drive will be revealed later.

 Google Tracker for various activities on a daily basis from 20th August 2021 to 15th September 2021

 Will have to be updated every night till 9.00 pm.  The best performing state will be selected based on their participation in the sanitation fortnight.

 Schools publish hygiene during regular hygiene lessons throughout the year

 And hygiene related activities can be encouraged to continue

 Hygiene and hygiene related activities should be encouraged by the schools regularly throughout the year.

  Action Plan for Celebrating Sanitation Fortnight from 01 to 15 September 2021

   01/09/2021 (Wednesday) "Swachhta Shapath Divas"

All teachers, staff and students of schools and educational institutions will have to take an oath of cleanliness on the first day by maintaining a virtual / social distance.  In which children have to talk about hygiene and take a resolution (mask, safe distance, hand hygiene etc.) hygiene / covid awareness message should be posted on the website of the department / institutions / schools.

 Electronic banners can be created and uploaded to web portals to follow hygiene lessons, publicity and awareness generation can be done through the use of social media, as well as electronic and print media.

  The number of students taking the oath of cleanliness and the number of participating schools, as well as the number of sworn photographs and videos and promotional materials must be uploaded to Google Tracker and Drive.

  02/09/2021 (Thursday) To organize a virtual meeting between children, parents and teachers of SMCs / SMDCs / PTAS to announce "Hygiene Awareness Day", as well as to encourage and motivate them for hygiene and cleanliness in school as well as at home.

  The importance of hygiene and cleanliness and the importance of hand washing, the importance of masks and social distance

  Teachers will have to inspect and evaluate the hygiene facilities in every corner of the school institution and make necessary arrangements for the maintenance of the facilities.

 During Covid-19 (raising awareness on hand washing facilities, daily cleaning and disinfection, use of toilets, use of water facilities, ventilation, waste management etc.

Testing of water facility under Jal Jeevan Mission,

 In the rainy season till November 2021, the status check and growth plan regarding water storage systems in the school can be carried out.

 Extensive cleaning / disinfection of toilets, kitchens, classrooms, fans, doors, windows to be carried out on campus.  The local community can get involved in these activities with the participation of SMCs / PTAs and local representatives.

 Number of participating schools, photographs and videos and promotional materials must be uploaded to Google Tracker and Drive.

   03/09/2021 (Friday) "Community Awareness Day"

 To organize community awareness day seminar (virtual / small groups) on the theme of hygiene to promote hygiene and covid safe behavior in children.

 Together with local representatives, teachers and students should promote the theme of vaccination among the people in the local areas under Sanitation Fortnight, Kovid-19.

 The number of students participating in Community Awareness Day, photographs and videos and promotional materials must be uploaded to Google Tracker and Drive.

"Green School Drive Day": Students can develop conceptual slogans, posters and pamphlets on topics such as covid proper behavior and the fight against corona by eliminating vaccinations, water conservation, single use plastics, etc.  It should be displayed in school exhibitions, village, city, and school premises.

 To make students understand about water conservation in school and at home.
